Anyways, that's my understanding of how that would work, but that's just me being idealistic about the existence of such a thing. I suppose the hack conflict detector, if it existed, would quantify all those instances of the vanilla game being overwritten by a package file, then it would tell me if there are two package files which both overwrite the same portion of the game. I am just wondering if there is hack conflict detector I could use? I know there probably is not, but I thought I should ask just in case. Hello, I guess I should've been more clear when I said something about a CC-free game my game is far from being CC free, so I have to assume that what you are saying is correct in that there is a default skin somewhere in my mods folder that causes my Sims' bodies to appear invisible when nude, of course after the censor has been removed. This is probably the reason why your new default skins are not showing up on existing sims though so sorting this problem out first would help that issue.ĭo you have any mods installed? If so, I would try a test game with just the default skin installed plus any NRaas mods, if you are using them, making sure they are all up to date for your patch level and delete all the cache files again before starting your game.ĭo the sims naked bodies re-appear if you do this? I would be inclined to believe this would be down to some bad CC but you say you do not have any so I'm not sure what's going on. No, this should not be happening and would suggest there is something really wrong here. Thanks in advance for any response, I really appreciate it! Is there any step that I am missing? Also, I've just realized that this may be abnormal in a CC-free game, but do your Sims' bodies, when they are nude, not really appear as well? Is that because there is already a skin with a mesh that doesn't come with the body? By not appear, I mean that they're basically invisible, which is why I wanted to download new skins, as this bothered me greatly. They simply won't appear on Sims which have already been created. I have already tried deleting all cache files located in the The Sims 3 folder, but to no avail. This obviously means that the mod is working, but it won't refresh the Sims which already exist.
Anyways, the problem is that the Sims which I have already created will not take on the new default skin which I downloaded, though Sims which I create do have them. Hello everyone! I know that this doesn't necessarily have anything to do with NRAAS mods, but I am unsure as to who to ask for assistance in this endeavor of mine.
